Pro-Level Advice

• Smash every crate you pass. Sounds tedious, but the cash and items pile up fast and you'll want that money later.
• Don't just mash punch. Mix in kicks and blocks, because enemies start reading your patterns after a couple of scraps.
• Grab weapons the second they hit the ground. A pipe or bat in hand turns a rough fight into a quick one.
• Bank your coins between fights and actually visit the store. Skipping upgrades early just means getting stomped later.
• If you're playing with a friend, split up when a mob shows up. Getting cornered together is how you both go down at once.

The difficulty ramps up in a way that feels fair at first and then, honestly, kind of brutal once the street gangs start swarming three or four at a time. Story-wise it's pretty stripped down: your character just wants to clean up a run of dangerous streets, and every alley seems to have another crew waiting to test that plan. There's no cutscene-heavy plot dragging things down, which works fine here since the point is clearly the fighting, not the lore. New areas throw tougher goons at you, so the early cash grinding actually pays off instead of feeling like busywork.
